One of TCT’s previous programs included Veterinary Centers that catered to the needs of villages nearby. TCT also responded to the need for cattle care in 1992 when there was no veterinary service in the villages. TCT trained local boys in basic veterinary care to provide the following services:

  • Treatment at Veterinary Centers and Mobile Camps
  • Emergency treatment at the doorstep
  • Immunization and de-worming of livestock and poultry
  • Artificial insemination and pregnancy diagnosis

With the growth of Dairy and Poultry industry and the emergence of regular veterinary service in the villages, TCT’s veterinary care program was closed around 2007 when the needs were being met by these services.
